Hier avait lieu l’Assemblée Générale des Fanboys Actionnaires de Disneyland Paris. Nous reviendrons prochainement sur cet étonnant spectacle dans un article dédié. En attendant, voici un bref compte-rendu des nouvelles informations concernant l’attraction Ratatouille : L’aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy qui ouvrira ses portes l’été prochain au parc Walt Disney Studios.
Un nouveau visuel présentant la Place De Rémy (ci-dessus) ainsi qu’une vidéo teaser en français et anglais (en bas de page) ont été partagés par Disneyland Paris. Mais le plus intéressant était à voir durant la conférence : Tom Fitzgerald, Executive Vice President & Senior Creative Executive de Walt Disney Imagineering est monté sur scène pour présenter quelques détails de la conception de l’attraction côté Backstage. Nos confrères de DLPWelcome l’ont filmée (ci-dessous), mais si vous souhaitez rester vierge de tout spoiler, je vous déconseille de la regarder. On y découvre notamment une énorme maquette de (l’embarquement) de l’attraction, quelques décors du Bistrot de Rémy ainsi que les véhicules ‘ratmobiles‘ – dont on ne comprend toujours pas le design digne d’un manège de foire qui risque de faire tache au milieu de décors aussi léchés.
On notera la grande absente de cette présentation : la date d’ouverture. Des rumeurs persistantes parlent d’une ouverture publique le 14 juillet 2014 (cocorico oblige), avec des soft-openings dès la fin du mois de juin. Un retard sur le planning des travaux pourrait évidemment repousser l’ouverture à plus tard, mais des sources souvent bien informées indiquent que le chantier est pour l’instant conforme au planning. Ouf.
Dans le même temps, alors que nous découvrons ces nouveaux détails, Michael Giacchino, le compositeur de la bande originale de Ratatouille, a partagé sur Instagram des extraits des sessions d’enregistrement de la bande son de l’attraction qui se tient actuellement au studio Capitol. Yesterday was the Annual Fanboys Shareholders Meeting in Disneyland Paris. We will soon cover this curious show in a specific blog post. In the meantime, here is a brief report about the new information we got from Ratatouille: The Ride which will open next summer at the Walt Disney Studios park.
A new visual (top of page) as well as a new teaser video in French and English (below) have been shared by Disneyland Paris. But the most interesting part was unveiled during the conference: Tom Fitzgerald, Executive Vice President & Senior Creative Executive, Walt Disney Imagineering, took the stage to present a few conception details of the attraction. Our colleagues at DLPWelcome have recorded it (above), but if you want to remain spoiler-free until opening day, I suggest you not to watch it. Among other things, it shows a massive model of the attraction (boarding area), some props from Le Bistrot de Rémy and the ‘ratmobile‘ vehicles – which we still don’t understand why they look like a generic funfair ride vehicle, because those will probably clash with the amazing scenery of the attraction.
The information many people are waiting for was not mentioned : the opening date. However, persistent rumors have that public opening is scheduled on France’s Bastille Day : July 14, with soft-openings planned as soon as the end of June 2014. Of course, any delay on the construction schedule could postpone the opening date, but well-informed sources told us that work is currently on schedule. Phew.
As we are discovering these new details, Michael Giacchino, composer of the Ratatouille movie original score, shared on Instagram several clips from the recording sessions of the attraction’s soundtrack currently going on at the famous Capitol studio.
